Had a great lunch today at Arigatos with a former co-worker who is still working for my former employer. We had a great time comparing our recent yarn projects and filling our faces with sushi. She also caught me up on the latest "chisme" from the office. I am so glad I am no longer involved in the petty office bull pucky that goes on there with the inside staff. I stayed out of it, kept my head down and just did my job while I was there and listened to it swirl around me. All I can say is petty office games amuse petty people. I hope my friend can get out of there soon before they suck the life out of her. Its so much nicer outside. I can see that now that I am no longer trapped there.
" FREE AT LAST"
from " American Negro Songs " by J. W. Work
Free at last, free at last
I thank God I'm free at last
Free at last, free at last
I thank God I'm free at last
Way down yonder in the graveyard walk
I thank God I'm free at last
Me and my Jesus going to meet and talk
I thank God I'm free at last
On my knees when the light pass'd by
I thank God I'm free at last
Tho't my soul would rise and fly
I thank God I'm free at last
Some of these mornings, bright and fair
I thank God I'm free at last
Goin' meet King Jesus in the air
I thank God I'm free at las
